PICKET WALL BECOMES YOUTH MINISTRY DIRECTOR AT CALVARY

We are pleased to announce that Pickett Wall has come to work at Calvary in a part-time staff position as the Youth Ministry Director.  Wall is a senior at Johnson and Wales University in Providence.

Pickett will be working with youth in grades 7-12.  Activities, discussions, fund raising activities and fun will be part of the youth group's activities.  We are hoping that the youth will feel supported and encouraged by participating in our youth group's activities.  Goals of our youth ministry include helping youth develop a faithful Christian life and develop their leadership qualities. Youth from the community are welcome to attend.  

Wall worked at our American Baptist Camp, Camp Canonicus, this past summer. He has had many opportunities to work with youth of diverse background not only at Canonicus but also in Montana, New Hampshire and in his home state of South Carolina.

Youth activities will be launched in November.  We are excited by Pickett's enthusiasm for coming to work at Calvary.  He loves working with people of different cultures so we think he will enjoy Calvary.
